Spartan returns to the culturally rich and visually intoxicating dunes of Abu Dhabi, UAE for the 2025 Spartan World Championship hosted by Abu Dhabi Sports Council. Festivities will include a myriad of local traditions and flavor, including local fare, cultural demonstrations, and some good ole fashion dune buggies.

Al Wathba, this year’s venue, sits just 30 minutes driving from Abu Dhabi, making it convenient for local and international racers alike. Restaurants, a spa/pool and cultural excursions will be available for purchase at the race venue.
Racers staying in Abu Dhabi, one of the safest cities in the world, will have the luxury of five-star hotel properties with world-class amenities. We recommend flying into Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) and renting a car for the duration of your stay.

National Series Requirement:
Finish Top 3 Overall in a Regular Season Event to qualify for a National Series Championship heat.
Regional Champs:
Finish Top 20 Overall in the Championship heat of a National Series Event.
World Champs:
Finish Top 50 Overall in the Championship Heat of a Regional Champs Race.
NOTE: Qualification is not required for Age Group heats at championship events at this time.
